Are you interested in becoming a model for Derma Medical on one of our cosmetic training days? Anyone can be a model – male or female, as long you’re above the age of 18 and being a model for Derma Medical has many benefits. The main one being that it’s a great option for those who want the reassurance and safety of being treated by a medical professional at a discounted cost.
The reason our treatments are discounted is for the purpose of education. You will be treated by our delegates, all of whom are qualified medical professionals. They will be closely supervised throughout the procedure by our expert trainers.

1. What Treatments We Offer
At Derma Medical we offer 18 different procedures to be booked. Most of these treatments are singular procedures for just one area, but we do offer package model treatments for masculinisation, feminisation, profile harmonisation, and structural rejuvenation.
There is no limit to the number of treatments you can book, and we often have models book in for multiple procedures on the same day. Individual treatments may be scheduled at different times of the day to suit the needs of that training course. You will be contacted after you have booked and paid for your treatment with a specific appointment time.
Please note that some treatments will be taught to different sets of delegates on different days. We can only offer treatments on the days displayed on our website. You are welcome to come back on different dates to have other treatments.
2. What to Expect as a Derma Model
As a model you can book your treatment online or over the phone. When we receive your order, we will allocate your appointment time as per our training schedule and confirm all details in an email and SMS. Almost all model treatments take place in the afternoon.
On the day we ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment to give us time to fill out your consent forms and take pictures before your treatment. These pictures are purely for your medical record. We will also ask you if you are comfortable with us taking photos during your treatment. We will only post pictures on social media where models have given their consent.
When you go in to have your treatment, the trainer and the team of delegates will consult you, then draw the landmarks of where they will inject using a white marker pencil – don’t worry, this will be removed before you leave! – the delegates will then inject your treatment as a group, under the constant and close supervision of our expert trainer.

Once your treatment is completed, you will be given aftercare advice by our delegates. Our coordinators will then take ‘after’ pictures for your file, and then you will be ready to go. The treatment time for treatments is usually 30-60 minutes.
3. Which Cities are Model Treatments Avaliable in?
We regularly need cosmetic models in all of our training locations. In the UK, we train in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
4. Who Can Become a Model?
As long as you are at least 18 years old, you are welcome to book as a model with us. We look for both male and female models and there is no upper age limit. For select treatments, we may ask for photographs or a short video after you book to ensure that you are a good candidate for this treatment as we look for specific cases in order to offer the best training to our delegates. If you are found to be unsuitable for a treatment, we will refund you in full. Although for most treatments we do not ask for photographs prior to your appointment.

5. When Can You Be a Model?
We tend to train on weekends, although occasionally we do also have weekdays available.
We train in London every week and every 4-6 weeks across other venues.
All of our available dates are added to our website at the beginning of every month, and we will announce when we add new dates in an email to our mailing list, so be sure to sign up here to be the first to know about new availability.
6. How to Book
Most models book in online, however you are also welcome to call our models team who will be happy to book you in over the phone.
We require full payment at the time of booking in order to secure your appointment as we do rely on our models attending their appointments to ensure the smooth running of our training courses. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
For any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our team, either by email at models@dermamedical.co.uk, or by phone on 020 3783 7620.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much are treatments and why are they so much cheaper than high street clinic prices?
As this is a training event, we offer heavily discounted treatments to cover the cost of the products used. High street clinics often add additional charges for the clinical work involved which can be an extra £100 – £300 depending on the procedure.
Which products do you use on your training days?
We use the same high-quality products on our training days that we do in our clinics. We use Juvederm, Intraline and Revolax which are all HA Hyaluronic acid fillers (a natural body product) and Radiesse dermal fillers. For anti-wrinkle treatments, we use Allergan and Bocouture.
For the purposes of teaching, we inject standard doses for all treatment areas.
What time will my appointment be?
Individual treatments may be scheduled at different times of the day to suit the needs of that training course. You will be contacted after you have booked and paid for your treatment with a specific appointment time and you will be with us for around 1 hour.
Some treatments will be taught to different sets of delegates on different days. We can only offer treatments on the days displayed on our website. You are welcome to come back on different dates to have other treatments.
Who will be injecting me during my treatment?
All injections are administered by our training delegates under close supervision from our expert trainers. All of our delegates are registered medical professionals and trainers remain close by at all times to ensure correct landmarks, injection techniques and dosages are followed at all times.
We arrange all treatments to facilitate the smooth running of our training days and it is not possible for models to specify which group or trainer they will be in.
Will I have to have my photos/videos put onto social media?
We do post photos and videos from time to time from training days onto our social media pages and website. All models are consented to gain their permission to do this in advance. If you don’t want any photos/videos of you published, you can indicate this on the consent form.
All cosmetic models are asked to have before and after pictures taken for the treatment records we keep. These are stored securely and will not be shared on social media without prior consent.
Do we offer free reviews and/or top-up?
As this is a training event and treatments are heavily discounted, we do not offer any follow-up or free top-ups. We are on hand to answer any questions however should you have any after the treatment.
